There's a farm a bit north of us that had about 10 old tractors welded onto posts all up their drive!! It had been like that for years, but of course the one day I go up specifically to take a photo ... they were gone! So disappointed, they looked really cool. Little Bella looks adorable, and Whiskey looks just like my dog did when he was a puppy (Australian Shepherd). I like the merles and roans too (we used to have a strawberry roan Appaloosa when I was a kid). Your dry, cracked ground makes it look really hot ... we're getting some flurries now and hovering around the 0C mark. chilly Enjoy your day, and have fun making the surprises! The heat moved up this way with the last few days being 40+....phew, too hot, too soon. The puppies are all gorgeous, but I tend to go for the unusual ones too. What breed/s is Kinky......he looks just like my girl, who has a border collie dad.......from the neck down she is all border collier, and her mum was a cattle dog/kelpie cross........her face is just like your boys.Nanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14473143331781472223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5273490878662489758.post-15202152406820495482014-11-16T18:30:31.904+11:002014-11-16T18:30:31.904+11:00How wonderful to be able to wander around your pro...How wonderful to be able to wander around your property and see the pleasing things in life such as beautiful animal friends and plants. I hope you get the rain you need soon. We had heavy rain most of last night with predictions of more today but it stopped. We got a bit of a soaking but it probably only hit the surface really. I suppose our water tank has been replenished a little. Have a wonderful time next weekend. Mick has been getting rid of a lot of his "just in case" rusty stuff before we move back into town. I can't believe how ruthless he has been. I'm not being ruthless with my craft stuff. It is getting boxed up to deal with later. Fortunately, we only got up to 37 here. We have had a couple of sprinkles of rain, but it is just teasing. 3 weeks ago our yard looked lovely and green. Now it is all brown and crunchy under foot. What a difference those hot, dry winds make. Hopefully tomorrow will be cooler, although I think it will be up in the 30s when you visit next weekend. I'm so looking forward to meeting you.Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288331185772160975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5273490878662489758.post-7520758896077755362014-11-15T17:21:02.793+11:002014-11-15T17:21:02.793+11:00was bad here yesterday and worse today...............was bad here yesterday and worse today...............43 and dusty..........hot winds............<br />farms always have "stuff" you just have to keep............you just never know when you need it......................Chookyblue......https://www.blogger.com/profile/03673183082274488600noreply@blogger.com
